Film Title Name
We discussed possible title names for our film and decided on 'When the Tide Comes In"
'When the Tide Comes In' links to our strong theme of water throughout our trailer, poster and website, solidifying the idea of brand cohesion. The idea of a tide coming in represents the panic that Alex feels about being in her relationship with Tom, as well as links to the potential thought of being drowned, which is what she feels like with Tom.

Audience Expectations of Romance Films
We interviewed a range of people to find out what audience's expect from romance films to make sure our trailer is catered towards them:
From this we found that audiences expect to see some sort of turmoil within a romance film, typically from a younger couple, and that they typically see rural location such as beaches giving a sense of isolation, as it is their story.

Changes in Story
Following our feedback on our storyboard we decided to change our genre and narrative to make the ending more effective, while still keeping the idea to make our film trailer heavily stylised. We wanted to still include a boy and a girl as the two main characters, but just change their relationship.
