Through feedback we realised that the end of our piece wasn't impactful enough so we created an alternate ending where the audience sees that the main protagonist is seeing another boy, shown through a kiss at the end of the trailer:
However we realised that even this moment isn't quite right and felt like we would have a solitary shot of the character Alex looking distressed instead, as we felt that throughout the trailer we depict her as broken and vulnerable, it wouldn't be right to show her as in secretive and in control.
We also received some more feedback for the rest of the trailer:
- turn down the music during the voiceover
- cut down the party scene, what does it add?
- car scene needs to be cut down, we don't need it explained
- when the character tom says "you know i love you" maybe isolate that vocal and put it with the lasting image to have more effect?
